Mark P. Young, 43 of Peculiar, Missouri passed away November 2, 2017 at his home in Peculiar. Cremation, with private family inurnment in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville, Missouri. Mark Philip Young was born June 10, 1974 in Kansas City, Missouri, son of T. Gary Young and Ellen (McGinnis) Young Holmes.

Mark attended school in Peculiar and was very artistic. He enjoyed and loved his family, and was always entertaining with his wit. He will be remembered for his kind-heartedness.

Mark was preceded in death by his father T. Gary Young; and his fiancé Kimberly George. He is survived by his mother Ellen Holmes and step-father Rick Holmes; his sisters Karie Rogers and Jamie Garrison (and husband Doug); his brothers Mike Young (and wife Chris) and Matt Young (and wife Staci); three nieces: Shelby and Madison Morrison, and Chloe Garrison; four nephews: Trevor, Preston and Codie Young and Mason Garrison; one great nephew Malcolm Dumas; aunt and uncle Trish and Ralph Smith, aunt Nancy Brown; as well as many cousins.
