The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred then the 1998 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 41 year old Dustin S. Heyer of Osceola, Missouri traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a culvert. The vehicle then traveled back onto the roadway before striking a ditch and coming to rest.
Mr. Heyer sustained moderate injuries in this accident and he was transported to Centerpoint Hospital for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Ron's Tow of Kingsville, Missouri.
