The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2007 Mazda driven by 20 year old Brennan M. Cardwell of Garden City, Missouri ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.
A passenger in his vehicle 20 year old Julia D. Cooper of Clinton, Missouri sustained minor injuries in this accident and she was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City Missouri for treatment.
The vehicle received moderate damages and was towed from the scene by Johnson's Tow.
