From the Barton County Sheriff's Office

On 12-22-2017 Sheriff Mitchell Shaw went to Webb City Police Department to pick up a man who had been arrested in Webb City on Barton County and City of Lamar Warrants. 

Michael B. Rapue, age 28, of Lamar had been released from the Department of Corrections on 12-22-2017 and rode a bus to the Joplin area. 

He had gone to his probation/parole officer's office and thats when he found out he had the active warrants. 

The Lamar warrants was for failure to pay his court fines on a conviction of assault. His bond amount on that charge was $759 dollars. His County warrant was for failure to appear on a violation of an order of protection (ex-parte) his bond amount is $2000 dollars cash or surety. He was transported to the Barton County Jail and he was processed into the jail and given ourt dates to appear on the charges.
