Lamar man arrested in Barton County

On 12-08-2017 a deputy was called over to the courthouse to pick up a subject there which was late for court. 

The judge had already issued a warrant for the subjects arrest. When the subject arrived at the courthouse he was arrested by the court baliff. 

The deputy responded to the court and transported Carl D. Carter, age 60, of Lamar to the Barton County Jail and he was processed into the jail. 

The original charge was for unlawful possession of a firearm. His bond amount on the failure to appear warrant is $50,000 cash or surety. Carter is housed in the Barton County Jail.
