The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1999 Ford Taurus driven by 60 year old Roberta J. Stone of Milo, Missouri ran off the roadway and struck a tree.
Roberta J. Stone sustained moderate injuries in this accident and she was transported to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by the owners son.
