Missouri State Highway Patrol Cruiser struck by vehicle in Bates County

On Friday evening the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County along with Bates County Sheriff's Deputies were working a accident in the Northbound Lanes of I-49 around mile marker 125 when a MSHP Patrol Car was rear-ended while it was stationary on the side of the highway.

The trooper was in his vehicle at the time of the impact, however he was sore but not seriously not injured as a result.

The other driver was cited and released at the scene. The patrol vehicle was towed to Troop A HQ in Lees Summit, Missouri by Don’s Towing of Butler, Missouri.
