Albert Dewaine Leonard, age 63, of Clinton (Ladue), MO died Saturday, November 25, 2017 at his home.
Al was born October 2, 1954 to Earl Leonard and Mary Jane ‘Kirk’ Leonard of Kansas City, MO. After school he went to work in the construction business hanging drywall. Al served in the Army National Guard for 7 years. He married Monica Stepp on July 26, 1994 in Clinton. Besides his family, Al loved his animals and going fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Monica, of the home; a daughter, Crystal Needham of Quinton, OK; two step-sons, Shelby Terry of Clinton, MO and Charles Jacob Skinner of Springfield, MO; a step-daughter, Rowena Terry of Quinton, OK; three granddaughters; one great-grandson; two brothers, Charles and Kevin Lewellen of Deepwater; one sister, Jackie Lawnen of Deepwater, MO; two aunts, Carolyn Smith of Clinton, MO and Venita Barnum, Rockville, MO; a special friend J.W. Moree from Deepwater, MO; and also, several other family members and friends.
Al was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Betty Leonard; and a brother, Cade Leonard.
The family chose cremation with no service, at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to Consalus Funeral Home, Clinton.
