Public Service Announcement from the Adrian Fire Department

The Adrian Fire Department wants to remind everyone that we are experiencing very dry, windy, and dangerous conditions and we are having numerous natural cover fires that are quickly getting out of control due to those conditions. Unfortunately these fires will spread quickly and may reach a house or a barn if we can't get there quick enough. 

Please refrain from burning during these conditions. At any other time if you are going to have a controlled burn, please contact our dispatch office @ 660-679-3232 and make them aware. 

The fire department responds to all reported fires unless we have been told of a controlled burn situation. If you will call and report your controlled burn information, it prevents us from having to respond on a false alarm call that may have pulled us away from a real emergency call. 

Working together we can prevent unnecessary damage to yours or someone else's property. Thank you in advance for your help and cooperation in our efforts to keep everyone safe.
