INFORMATION-GOLDEN CITY AREA
The Barton County Sheriff's Office received a call of damage to a railroad crossing North of Golden City on Highway 160.
The railroad has not arrived on scene yet to fix the damage but is on the way. It’s our recommendation that you might try find another route if you’re traveling to Lamar. It's unknown how long it will take to fix.
We still have a deputy with the crossing to try and keep the traffic slowed down to avoid an accident from occurring.
