On November 28, 2017, officers of the El Dorado Springs Police Department assisted by Deputies of the Cedar County Sheriff's Office served a search warrant at 508 South Grand Street after receiving information concerning illegal drug activity. Officers located and seized illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, and a handgun.
The investigation resulted in the arrest of Ginna L. Lavallee, 39, and Dusty J Lavallee, 19, of El Dorado Springs charging them with Possession of Less than 35 Grams of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. They were released on summonses pending a court appearance.
