UPDATE: Harrisonville man charged in Cass County for stabbing K9 officer

The suspect, Zachary T. Wilbanks, 17, of Harrisonville, Mo. was charged this afternoon with:

Count 1: Resisting or Interfering With Arrest/detention/stop – class A misdemeanor,

Count 2: Assault on A Police Animal – class C misdemeanor,

Mr. Wilbanks is being held in the Belton Police Department Jail on municipal charges from the City of Harrisonville.
