Marcia was born May 2, 1946 in Nevada, Missouri, daughter of Marshall and Ella (Hiebert) Gordon. She was a graduate of Rich Hill High School and was united in marriage to Gerald Ours on August 30, 1968.
Marcia was always looking for a new challenge. After being a homemaker and raising her children, her employment included Ours Oil Company, Video Theatre, Drs. Hatten & Hatten, Bates County Memorial Hospital, and Ortho Sport Rehab.
Marcia was known for always having a kind word for everyone. She was a very classy, selfless, yet private person whose life revolved around following the activities of her children and grandchildren, as well as spending holidays and gatherings surrounded by her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her granddaughter Kalee Chandler, brother Terry Gordon, father-in-law Lester Ours, and mother-in-law Maxine Ours. She is survived by her husband Jerry, children Steve Craigmiles (Julie), Kyle Ours (Tonya), Kerry Dudley and Kacey Chandler (Wade); her grandchildren Grant Craigmiles, Haylea Craigmiles-Anderson (Tyler), Garrett Craigmiles, Jordan Ours, Regan Ours, Mason Dudley, Rhett Dudley, Allie Chandler and Jake Chandler.
