Upon their arrival they confronted two suspects in a vehicle. When the officers attempted to take the suspects into custody the driver drove off while the officer was still attempting to apprehend him.
A police chased ensued, and with the assistance of the Kansas City, MO Police Department the suspects were later taken into custody without incident.
Media reports have indicated that the officer was dragged through the parking lot and a police car was rammed, however we are still investigating the incident to determine the specifics of what actually happened during that arrest. No one was injured in this incident.
