Paul married the late Shirley Ann McGown from Mound City, KS on July 2, 1955, in Raton, New Mexico. They lived in Oregon, Colorado, and Kansas during their lifetime.
He was employed as an individual home contractor with Aluminum Lux-Scott in Denver, CO. Paul and Shirley owned and operated the Midway Motel in Pleasanton, KS from 1972 to 2003. Paul was preceded in death by his wife Shirley; eight brothers; Wilford, Corwin, Ottis, Ora, Roy, Jay, Sidney, and Lee Stogsdill; three sisters; Dolly, Mary, and Elsie, and a grandson Justin Stogsdill. Survivors include; one sister; Beulah, two sons; Gregory Stogsdill of Pleasanton,KS and Michael and Sally Stogsdill of Knoxville,TN; two daughters; Ramona and Keith Holland and Shirlene and Dean Johnson of Prescott, KS; five grandchildren; Jennifer, Jason, Tricia, Kyle and Mickayla; five great grandchildren; Raven, Mercedes, Trysta, Alexis, and Axel.
