Obituary - Ralph L. Myrick

Ralph L. Myrick, age 90, Pleasanton, Kansas passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Fort Scott, Kansas. He was born at Mapleton, Kansas on December 21, 1927 the son of Newton George and Lula May Needham Myrick. He graduated from Blue Mound High School. Ralph was united in marriage to Patricia Ross on June 19, 1954 in Independence, Kansas. He worked as a pipe fitter, rancher, and was an entrepreneur. 

He was a member of the Pipefitter''s Union Local #533. Most importantly, he loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Ione Faye Myrick Bills Geneste. Ralph is survived by his wife, Patricia, three sons: Shawn Myrick and wife Debra, Shane Myrick, and Shannon Myrick and wife Charla, eight grandchildren: Jason, Travis, Skylar, Trenton, Kenneth, Tyler, Sheldon and Shauna and thirteen great grandchildren: Randall, Dominic, Chloe, Bailey, Leah, Miley, Lillian, Ryleigh, Duke, Kamden, Kyler, Kace and Jurney.

Service will be 3 pm Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel. Visitation will be held from 1:30 until service. The family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children''s Hospital c/o Schneider Funeral Home, Box 525, Pleasanton, KS 66075.
