He is survived by one daughter, Lisa Plato and husband Ron, Jerseyville, Illinois; two grandsons, Nicholas Plato and wife Brook, Andrew Plato and wife Dezaray; three great-grandchildren, Sophia, Robert and Baker; three brothers, Hobart Jacobs, Belton, Missouri, Richard Jacobs, Harrisonville, Missouri, Charlie Jacobs, Warsaw, Missouri; two sisters, Betty Leon, Blue Springs, Missouri, Mary Anne Cox, Urich, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Cremation. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri with Military Honors to follow at the funeral home. Inurnment will be held at the Mullin Cemetery near Urich, Missouri following the Military Service.
Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the funeral home.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the VFW Post #4409, Harrisonville, Missouri.
