Update: Two injured in Vernon County Crash

On 1/22/18 around 12:30pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Vernon County along with Walker Rural Fire Department responded to a two vehicle accident on Route AA around 3 miles South of Schell City, Missouri.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2007 Chrysler Sebring driven by 62 year old Susara M. Schoeman of Schell City, Missouri failed to stop at a stop sign and struck the 2012 Nissan Altima driven by 59 year old Evelyn C. Singleton of Schell City, Missouri.

Evelyn C. Singleton along with a passenger in her vehicle 60 year old Steven G. Singleton of Schell City, Missouri both sustained injuries in this accident and both were transported by ambulance to Cedar County Memorial Hospital in Eldorado Springs, Missouri for treatment.

Both vehicles were totaled and both were towed by Steward's Wrecker and J&B Towing.
