The Missouri State Highway says the accident occurred when the 2000 Ford Ranger driven by 80 year old William H. Dunlap of Amoret, Missouri was struck in the rear by the 2012 Peterbilt driven by 39 year old Jedariah D. Stipp of Joplin, Missouri.
Mr. Dunlap sustained moderate injuries in this accident and he was transported by ambulance to Bates County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The Ford Ranger sustained extensive damages and it was towed from the scene by Don's Tow of Butler, Missouri.
