The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1996 Jeep driven by 52 year old Michelle M. Daniels of Appleton City, Missouri slid on a ice covered roadway causing the vehicle to travel off the right side of the roadway before returning to the roadway and traveling through a intersection before striking a culvert and over turning.
Michelle M. Daniels sustained serious injuries in this accident and she was transported by ambulance to Ellett Memorial Hospital in Appleton City, Missouri for treatment.
The Jeep was totaled and secured at the scene of the accident and it will be towed at a later time.
