Today about 12:45 p.m. Drexel Fire was dispatched to a reported large natural cover fire.
The fire was located near the South Lake (ball fields) to the City Golf Course, approx 20-25 acres.
Additional help was requested from Dolan West Dolan, Central Cass, Adrian, and Amsterdam Fire Departments. Each mutual aid unit responded with brush trucks.
