Edward Eugene “Gene” Vogt, age 82 of Butler, Missouri died Friday, February 9, 2018 at Bates County Memorial Hospital in Butler. He was born August 15, 1935 to Wilhelm Edward and Ethel Jadlot Vogt in Butler.
Gene is survived by his wife Lona Vogt of Butler, Missouri; one son, Douglas Vogt and wife Kathleen of Columbia, Missouri; one daughter, Linda Smith and husband Scott of Kansas City, Missouri; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
