She was preceded in death by her husband Alvin Lee Puckett, 2 brothers Glen and Charles Cooper and a grandson Jake Richman.
Phyllis is survived by five children: Paul and Karen Puckett of Harrisonville, Missouri, Douglas and Linda Puckett of Olathe, Kansas, Norman and Sabrina Puckett from Mazon, Illinois, Diane and Mark Richman from Holden, Missouri, Kenneth and Joyce Puckett from Clinton, Missouri, 12 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.
Phyllis was born in August of 1934, the daughter of Harley and Edith Cooper. She married Alvin Puckett on March 29, 1952. They enjoyed raising their 5 children while traveling, camping and enjoying life in general.
Phyllis accepted Christ as her Savior at a young age and was a member of Northeast Baptist Church in Clinton.
Funeral service will be on Monday, February 12 at 2pm with visitation one hour prior to the service at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton.
Interment will follow at Vansant Road Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Disabled American Veterans Association and may be left in care of the funeral home. Fond memories and condolences may be left online at www.vansant-millsfuneralhome.com.
