Tom was born on September 29, 1950 in St. Charles MO to Howard and Francis (Baker) Roelker,
he graduated from Camdenton High School in 1968, and married Lois Christine Doty on October 4, 1969. Of this union they had four children; Christi Michelle, Jeffery Thomas, Michael Raymond and Cassandra Kaye.
In high school Tom loved playing in bands, football, and basketball. One of his bands was named the Velvet Sponge where he played bass guitar and was lead singer, he also played many other instruments.
In 1979 Tom followed his dream and went to the police academy where he became a Police Officer in Nevada Missouri. Later he moved to Clinton Missouri where he married Susan Rife and worked at Wal-Mart where he later retired do to illness.
Tom will be missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his four children Christi Millman and Tim of Bronaugh MO, Jeff Roelker and Charity of Richmond KS, Michael Roelker and Terri of Clinton MO, Cassandra Worley and Kenny of Emporia KS. HIs wife Susan Roelker of the home, 19 grandkids and 9 great grandkids. Two brothers Ron and Don.
He is proceeded in death by one wife Linda Roelker, his parents, one step-daughter Tina Coby of Nebraska.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Thomas Roelker memorial fund and may left of the funeral home.
