John had an unprecedented work ethic and a desire for perfection that his work crews could not deny. He put his all into every job he was on and loved to see it through to the end.
John was a proud husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He loved is family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them as often as possible. John was an avid fisherman and a huge Kansas City Royals baseball fan. When he was not working on a job site, you could usually find him catching a ballgame or at a good fishing hole trying his best to pick it clean. Watching a Royals game in person at Kauffman Stadium, or going a fishing trip with his brothers and grandsons were some of his fondest memories.
John was proceeded in death by both of his parents Nearis and Zula Browning; two brothers Fuzzy and Jimmy; two sisters Betty and Lou; and one grandson Jason.
John leaves behind his loving wife of 32 years, Sherry Browning of the home. Two brothers: Delbert(Sandra) Browning and Ralph Browning, three sisters: Ann Brewer, Martha Redden, Daisy(Frank) Warmbrodt, and two sisters-in-law’s: Ruth Browning and Lynn Browning. He also leaves behind 3 daughters, Jessie Browning of Irving, TX; Carmen (David) Bristow of Clinton; Chrissy(Jeremy) Wilson of Clinton; 10 grandchildren: Anthony, Tommy, JD, Dakota, Hayden, Riley, Merissa, Angelina, Tatum, Marionna; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation followed by service for family and friends will be at 1pm on Tuesday February 6, 2018 at Vansant Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, MO. The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or Trinity Lutheran Church of Clinton and may be left in care of the funeral home.
