· 4 Nursing Home/Hospice type deaths were reported for the period. All cases were reviewed with none requiring further investigation.
· On March 9, 2018 the Coroner was called to Bates County Memorial Hospital per protocol. A 77 year-old man was pronounced by Emergency Department personnel with death due to natural causes.
· On March 10, 2018 at 1:41 AM the Coroner was called to a residence in Amsterdam, Missouri. Marcia R. Yarrington was pronounced by Coroner Greg Mullinax with death attributable to natural causes.
· On March 10, 2018 at 10:10 AM the Coroner was called to a residence in Butler. Giffin F. Simmons was pronounced by Coroner Greg Mullinax with death attributable to natural causes.
On March 19, 2018 at 6:35 AM the Coroner was called to a residence in Adrian. A 57 year-old man was pronounced by Coroner Greg Mullinax and the cause of death remains under investigation at this time.
