Hume Community News 3/20/18

The Hume PTO is planning a full morning for the Annual Easter Egg Hunt in Hume, MO.

The festivities will kick off with Breakfast and Pictures with the Easter Bunny on Saturday, March 31 at 9:00 a.m. You will be able to enjoy a breakfast of pancakes, sausage, eggs and drinks, plus get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny. Then at 11:00 a.m. the Annual Easter Egg Hunt will begin. It sounds lika a morning of fun, so come out and enjoy.

Congratulations to Khloe Hubbard a 4th grader at Hume Elementary for winning 1st place Grand Champion Poster about the Water Shed at the Bates County Water & Soil Conservation Contest.

Everett and Karen Irwin went to Lockwood, MO last Wednesday and enjoyed lunch with their cousins Gene and Connie Stump. They visited with Robert Stump who is in a nursing home in Lockwood. On the way home they visited with their Aunt Luella Driskell at Truman Nursing home in Lamar, MO.

Hume United Methodist Church News: The Easter Breakfast will be held at the church on Sunday, April 1 at 8:00 a.m. Men are to be at the Church at 6:30 a.m. to prepare the breakfast. Church services will be at 9:00 a.m. on Easter Sunday. There will be no 10:30 services. An Easter Egg Hunt will follow the 9:00 a.m. Service for the kids.
