Larry was raised in El Dorado Springs and graduated from El Dorado Springs High School. Following high school he served in the United States Navy. Larry worked as an over the road trucker for most of his life. He was a member the First Baptist Church in Schell City for many years. Larry was a 32nd Degree Mason. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, his little red tractor, and spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife Jeanette he is survived by two daughters, Deanna Kish and her husband Joseph, El Dorado Springs, MO, Kandy Eslinger and her husband Daniel, Schell City, MO; three grandchildren, Tanner Headen of the home, Treyton Pippin, Schell City, Jadean Pippin, Schell City; three step-grandchildren, Sydney Eslinger, Dylan Eslinger, and Cody Eslinger; three brothers, Dan Friar, Nevada, David Friar and his wife Janet, El Dorado Springs, John Friar, El Dorado Springs; one sister, Patricia Langford and her husband Warren, Nevada. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one daughter, Edina Roberts.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Schell City with Rev. Doug Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery in Schell City.
