Jury selection was to have begun this morning in the trial of Mark D. Plumb Sr. but a plea agreement was reached late Friday and Plumb was sentenced this morning to 15 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections.

Plumb was charged with burglary and 3 counts of domestic violence after receiving stolen property and abusing his girlfriend. Judge James Journey rendered the sentence after the victim delivered her impact statement to the court. Judge Journey ordered Plumb serve 5 years each for the 3 counts of Domestic Violence, those sentences were ordered to run consecutively, with 7 years for receiving stolen property. The 7 -year sentence is to run concurrent with the 15-year sentence. Hugh C. Jenkins represented the State at today’s proceedings.
