In the afternoon hours of Wednesday, February 28, 2018
Nevada Police executed a search warrant in the 400 block of N. Ash Street in response
to reports of illegal drug activity at that location.
Officers had developed information regarding a known female
subject at that location that had reportedly been involved in illegal drug
activity. It was also discovered throughout the investigation that other known
individuals were frequenting the residence.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with multiple subjects
on the property. Police detained six individuals during the investigation. One
male subject detained had outstanding warrants for his arrest from the Vernon
County Circuit Court and Nevada Municipal Court.
During the search Nevada Police seized suspected illegal
drugs and suspected drug paraphernalia. Suspected methamphetamine, suspected marijuana,
and suspected prescription medication identified as controlled substances were
located amongst the subjects.
The suspected drug evidence seized is being sent to the
Missouri State Highway Patrol Crime Lab for further analysis.
Three subjects were taken into custody by Nevada Police and transported
to the Vernon County Jail for holding. The three subjects were identified as
follows:
Michelle R. Lindsey, age of 55 of Nevada
Timothy R. Austin, age 53 of Nevada
On March 1, 2018, the following charges were filed against Michelle
R. Lindsey through the Vernon County Associate Court:
Three (3) Counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance - Class
D Felony
Lindsey is being held in the Vernon County Jail in lieu of a $7,500 cash only bond.
On March 1, 2018 the following charge was filed against Timothy
R. Austin through the Vernon County Associate Court:
Possession of a Controlled Substance - Class D Felony
Austin is being held in the Vernon County Jail in lieu of a
$7,500 cash only bond.
On March 1, 2018 the following charge was filed against Bryan
C. Judd through the Vernon County Associate Court:
Possession of a Controlled Substance - Class D Felony
Judd is being held in the Vernon County Jail in lieu of a $7,500
cash only bond. Judd is also being held on additional unrelated arrest warrants.
