From the Clinton Police Department

The Clinton Police Department wants everyone to be aware of a developing issue in the Clinton Central Business District. A suspicious item has been found in the vicinity of the 100 Block of North Main Street, in the east alley way, between Green and Franklin Streets. A perimeter has been set up and some roadways have been closed.

We would ask that everyone please stay clear of the area for your safety and in order to make the responding officer's jobs easier. If travelling in the area, choose alternative routes to steer well clear. Thanks to everyone for your cooperation!
