Kindergarten/Preschool children will need a copy of their birth certificate, lead testing, and shot records.
Children must be 3 yrs old before August 1, 2018 to enroll in preschool. A maximum of 10 students will be accepted in the preschool program on a first come, first serve basis with priority given to in-district students that are 4 years old before August 1, 2018-04-09 Children must be 5 yrs old before August 1, 2018 to enroll in Kindergarten.
The Hume Alliance Ministry is hosting a Spaghetti feed on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at the Hume Legion Hall in Hume. Serving will start at 11:30 a.m. for a freewill donation. All proceeds will go to the Hume Food Pantry. If you would like to help with donations please contact Barbie Pruitt at 660-643-7897.
Please remember distribution for the food panty in Hume is always the 3rd Saturday of the month from 9:00 a.m. to Noon. Next distribution date will be April 21.
Miss Kylie Marten celebrated her 3rd birthday Sunday, evening at the Grain Bin in Hume. The party was hosted by her parents Bradlie and Lindsey. A host of family and friends enjoyed soup, sandwiches, cake and ice cream. Of course lots of presents for Miss Kylie!
Miss Mia Brooks turned 6 years old on April 5. She enjoyed a birthday party at her home on Sunday afternoon with lots of family and friends. The party was hosted by her parents, Clayton and Brittney. Her favorite part about her birthday was eating cake!
The Hume Alumni will be Saturday, May 26 at the Hume School. The planning committee will hold their first meeting Sunday, April 15 at 4:00 p.m. at the Legion Hall in Hume. All Alumni are invited to attend.
