The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2009 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 21 year old Michael F. Reeves of Manhattan, Kansas struck the rear of a trailer being pulled by a 2012 Freightliner driven 27 year old Ruben Sabian- Mendez of Juarez, Mexico.
Mr. Reeves sustained minor injuries in this accident and he was transported by ambulance to Nevada Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The Chevrolet Silverado sustained extensive damages and it was towed from the scene of the accident by Garwood's Wrecker Service.
