Today is National EMT & Paramedics Recognition Day!

BCMH is PROUD of its paramedics and EMTs who serve our patients and community with compassion, courage and commitment. Happy EMS Week to our crew!

Did you know?
- BCMH is one of the few hospitals in Missouri to operate an Ambulance Service.

- Our EMS members participate in community events like Safety Village and the Children’s Health Fair, and are frequently asked to visit schools, clubs and other organizations to educate children about emergency safety.

- BCMH EMS coordinates with other emergency services and members of Bates County Emergency Management in training exercises, and every other year they stage a mock drunk driving accident for the benefit of area high school students

Want to show BCMH EMS your support? Share this post with the hashtag #MyBCMH And, if they saved the day or made a positive difference in your life, share that too!
