On 5/20/18 around 12:05am the Bates County Sheriff's Department along with the Adrian Fire Department, Bates County EMS and the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County all responded to a motorcycle accident on Route T just east of CR NE 9783 in rural Bates County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2002 Honda Shadow driven by 57 year old Billy L. Miller of Urich, Missouri struck a deer in the roadway and overturned, ejecting the driver.
Mr. Miller sustained moderate injuries in this accident and he was transported by ambulance to Bates County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The bike received minor damages and was removed by a family member.
