All prospective bidders are encouraged to attend the pre-bid conference. Bid specifications can be obtained by email at don.lile@adrian.k12.mo.us or picked up at the District Office. Project-related questions shall be directed to Mr. Don Lile, Superintendent, at (816) 297-2710. All bidders must comply with the Missouri Prevailing Wage Law and E-Verify. A bid bond, in the amount of 5% of the bid, is required from all bidders.
The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract amount. The Adrian R-III School District reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Faxed or emailed bids will not be accepted. The scope of work consists of replacement of eleven HVAC units, including three, 4 ton units, six, 5 ton units, one, 10 ton unit, and one, 12.5 ton unit.
All of these systems need new curb adapters, hail guards and thermostats. A crane will be needed for the removal and replacement of the roof top units. The electrical, gas and drains will also need to be included.
