Butler man charged with aggravated sexual assault

On 06/23/2018 officers were called to Bates County Memorial Hospital to investigate a sexual assault case. 

After speaking with the victim, officers with the assistance of the Bates County Sheriff's Office then made contact with the suspect Stacey Thomas age 54, at 509 N. Austin and placed Thomas into custody. 

Thomas is currently being held on a $100,000 cash only bond for 1st degree - aggravated sexual offense at the Bates County Sheriff's Office.
