The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2004 Ford driven by 65 year old Lorraine G. Payne of Deepwater, Missouri failed to negotiate a right hand curve, crossed the center line of the roadway and traveled off the left side of the roadway striking tree.
Lorraine G. Payne sustained minor injures in this accident and she was transported by Golden Valley EMS to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton, Missouri for treatment.
The vehicle received moderate damages and was driven from the scene of the accident.
