From the Harrisonville Police Department

We have been informed that the crossing arms on Mechanic at the railroad tracks are malfunctioning. When a train is in the area of Independence St. the crossing arms are going down at Mechanic and staying down until manually reset. 

The railroad has advised us they have the part en route and it will arrive Monday. So it's going to be a long weekend.

As a reminder, even if you think the arms are malfunctioning you CANNOT cross under/around the crossing arms. You are subject to a ticket if so.

Please utilize Vine/Plaza or Commercial/291 as a detour if necessary.
