Bicyclist escapes injury in Cass County accident

On 7/26/18 around 6:21pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County responded to a one vehicle accident involving a bicyclist around the area of 211th at Route J in rural Cass County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2014 Ford Explorer driven by 41 year old Charles R. Wallace of Peculiar, Missouri made a left hand turn onto 211th and cut the corner too sharp striking a bicyclist that was stationary.

The bicyclist 31 year old Joseph W. Fasanello of Raymore, Missouri sustained minor injuries in this accident and he refused medical treatment at the scene of the crash.

The Explorer received minor damages and it was driven from the scene.
