After one more warm day in the upper 80s to lower 90s, the cooler temperatures we have been advertising for the end of the work week and into the weekend will be ushered in tonight by a cold front. This front will also usher in the chance for storms.
Severe storms are expected to develop today in Iowa and Nebraska...there is a slight chance these storms hold together long enough to produce a few strong to isolated severe storms in northeast Kansas & northwest Missouri later this evening. Strong gusty winds to isolated damaging wind gusts are the main threat.
