From the Cass County Sheriff's Office

The Cass County Sheriff's Office is currently assisting the Pleasant Hill Police Department with a Tactical Operation in the 600 block of Horseshoe Drive, Pleasant Hill. Several roads in the Sugarland Estates area are closed or have restricted access during this time.

There are no reports of injuries at this time and negotiators are working to bring the incident to a peaceful resolution. Residents near the area are encouraged to stay at their homes and avoid travel.
