The Missouri State Highway patrol says the accident occurred when the 1997 Dodge Ram driven by 57 year old Kenneth D. Stewart of Rich Hill, Missouri failed to yield and was struck by the 1987 Buick Century driven by 68 year old Judith R. Hartman of Rich Hill, Missouri.
A passenger in the Buick Century car 65 year old Gail M. Jones of Rich Hill sustained minor injuries in this accident and she was transported by ambulance to Bates County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Both vehicles received extensive damages and the Buick was towed from the scene by Gilkey Tow of Rich Hill.
