Vehicle found in fatality hit & run accident in Cass County

The Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County has announced that they have found the Maroon in color Hyundai in connection with a hit and run fatality accident that occurred Sunday night in rural Drexel, Missouri.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Gavin Kush, 15, of Drexel, MO, was walking in the northbound lanes of Route D just south of Route OO around 9pm on Sunday evening when a maroon Hyundai hit him, throwing him into a ditch. The vehicle fled the scene after hitting Kush.

Gavin Kush died later at Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville, Missouri.
