The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when a unknown vehicle was switching lanes and struck the 2002 Chevrolet driven by 51 year old Patricia M. Freemyer of Appleton City, Missouri causing the vehicle to travel off the road and strike a road sign. The unknown vehicle fled the scene of the accident.
Patricia M. Freemyer sustained minor injuries in this accident and she was transported to Cass Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The Chevrolet sustained extensive damages and it was towed from the scene by J's Southland Tow.
