Bates County Sheriff's Office seeking public assistance

The Bates County Sheriff's Office is seeking help from the public. On 8/21/18 the Sheriff's Office was assisting the Children's Division on a hotline in reference to a juvenile. Custody of the juvenile was given to a family friend when his father was sent to prison. Sometime afterwards the juvenile was kicked out of that household. Children Services received the hotline on the 21st and contacted the Sheriff's Office to help locate this juvenile. 

Since then the court has granted full custody of the juvenile to Children's Division. We have exhausted all leads in located this subject and are asking for the public's help in locating him. His last known contact with friends was via phone on 8/24/18. His information is listed below.

Donny Plumb
14 years old DOB 09-03-2003
White male approx. 5'0" 100Lbs
Brown hair and brown eyes
last seen by school officials on 08/14/2018 when a third party was attempting to enroll him in school.
Could possibly be in Missouri or Kansas area
