The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2006 Ford F250 driven by 76 year old George D. Heisten of El Dorado Springs, Missouri traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree, overturned and struck another tree before coming to rest.
Mr. Heisten was pronounced deceased by the St.Clair County Coroner and transported to Shelton Funeral Home in Osceola. The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by C&H Towing.
This is Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol's 66th fatality accident of 2018.
