From the Adrian School District

Friday night football action started on August 24th against the Butler Bears. Coach Cochran commented on the game:

"Always good to start the season with a win. Offensively, we really struggled in the first half. We kind of put it together in the second half, though."

Offense always takes a little time to mesh in the early part of the year. Defensively, we played really well.

We are really pushing the players to be physical, and they were. We have a lot to work on, but the ultimate goal is a win, and we got that tonight."

The Adrian Blackhawks defeated the Butler Bears Friday with a final score of 28-0.

Cameron Tallman led the Blackhawks in total yards while James Keating led the team in tackles. Next game is August 31 @ Liberal 7:00 pm
