The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1999 Ford Contour driven by 20 year old MaKaylee R. Mayfield of Harrisonville, Missouri went off the right side of the roadway, struck a ditch and became airborne before overturning and coming to rest on its wheels facing north.
A passneger in the vehicle 41 year old Andrea V. Payne of Harrisonville, Missouiri sustained minor injuries in this accident and she was transported by ambulance to Cass Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Johnson's Tow of Harrisonville, Missouri.
