Johnny Rowlands and News Chopper 9 in Harrisonville

Johnny Rowlands of KMBC 9 visited McEowen Elementary Wildcats this morning as part of the station's back-to-school/teacher appreciation coverage. 

He landed NewsChopper9 on the playground where some of the McEowen staff and children had gathered to welcome him. 

He expressed his appreciation for all that teachers do and gave each one a token of appreciation. 

He also interviewed Principal Beth Love during a "live" local cut-in during Good Morning America.
